Ram Roundup - Week of April 14
Another exciting week of activity for the Owasso Rams has concluded, bringing numerous achievements across various sports. Below is a detailed summary of the highlights from April 14th to April 20th.
April 14
The week kicked off with a high note for the Owasso Ram Golf Team, who claimed victory at the Norman North Invitational. Individually, standout Ben Field placed T8th with a strong performance, shooting 70-72.
On the baseball field, the Rams suffered just their second loss of the season (and the first on their home turf) in a close-fought game against the Sand Springs Sandites, falling 4–2.
April 15
Owasso Varsity Cheer battled it out at the Stunt State Championships, showcasing their skill and athleticism.
Meanwhile, both Rams and Lady Rams Soccer teams faced the Mustang Broncos on the road. It was a mixed day of results as the Lady Rams fell in a heartbreaker during overtime, 1–0, while the Rams dominated the Broncos with an impressive 8–2 victory.
Back on the diamond, the Owasso Baseball team bounced back in style with a 5–3 win over Sand Springs, avenging the earlier loss and taking their season record to an impressive 26-2.
April 15 also marked a special occasion for the Lady Ram Cross Country Team, was celebrated at the State Capitol for their 2024 State Championship.
April 17
The Owasso Lady Rams’ Golf team delivered an excellent performance at the Putnam City North Tournament, securing 3rd place overall. Special recognition goes to Reagan Plank, whose stellar play landed her a tie for 4th place after carding a 77.
The Owasso Track and Field athletes took a trip to Bentonville, Arkansas, where they shined at the Bentonville West Relays. Among the champions were:
Bella Nelson in the 1600m run.
Ava Cornelius in the 3200m run.
The Lady Rams 4x800m relay team.
Natalie Duong in the pole vault.
Jayelle Austin in the shot put.
The Rams 4x200m relay team.
April 18
Rams and Lady Rams Soccer returned home to host the Muskogee Roughers. The Rams earned their 10th consecutive victory, defeating the Roughers, 10-0.
Meanwhile, Owasso Baseball was back in action, cruising to a convincing 7–1 win over NOAH as they celebrated seven seniors in the Class of 2025. The Rams now boast an impressive 27–2 record as they head into the later stages of the season.
