Lady Rams Golf Qualifies for State
The Lady Rams Golf team competed at the Lady Ram Invitational and Frontier Valley Conference Tournament at Bailey Ranch Golf Club, finishing second as a team. Reagan Plank led Owasso with a score of 75, placing second individually, while Taylor Tevis and Halle Martin tied for sixth with rounds of 80.
Later in the week, the Lady Rams returned to Bailey Ranch for Golf Regionals on April 24. Owasso finished third overall, qualifying for the upcoming state championships. Tevis placed second individually with a 74, and Plank finished fifth with a 76.
Rams Baseball Moves to 30-2
The Rams Baseball team collected three more wins during the week. On April 21, Owasso edged Southmoore 7-4 in extra innings, led by Easton Hailey’s 2-for-3 effort with two RBIs and a stolen base.
The Rams hosted Southmoore the next day, winning 11-2 behind a 3-for-5 performance from Cooper Ranallo, who also struck out nine as the starting pitcher. Cooper Auschwitz contributed a home run.
On April 24, Owasso defeated Broken Arrow 9-2 in a non-district matchup, with Eli Enzbrenner going 2-for-2 and pitching four innings with three strikeouts.
Soccer Teams Conclude Regular Seasons
Owasso soccer closed out the regular season with matches against Bixby and Broken Arrow. The Rams defeated Bixby 6-2 on April 22, securing their 11th consecutive win, while the Lady Rams lost 1-0.
On April 25, the Rams earned a 2-1 victory over Broken Arrow, finishing the regular season with a 13-2 record. The Lady Rams fell 4-1 and completed the regular season at 8-5.
Track & Field Athletes Set Records
Owasso Track & Field athletes set new marks at the Frontier Valley Conference Meet on April 24. Ava Cornelius broke the school record in the 1600 meters with a time of 4:57.48.
The Rams' 4x100 relay team of Jaylon Moll, Jayson Moll, Jayden Hall, and Hunter McAlister posted a school-record time of 41.97.
Bella Nelson set a state record in the 800 meters, finishing in 2:09.
Tennis Teams in Action
The Owasso Tennis teams competed at Edmond North on April 23-24 and at Muskogee on April 26. Full match results have not yet been reported.
